Living Convinced exists to strengthen men wherever intentional development is already taking place. Whether you serve through a church, men’s ministry, nonprofit organization, educational institution, correctional program, recovery ministry, business, or community organization, Living Convinced provides a structured formational journey centered on identity, biblical truth, and purposeful living.
The Founder
Author · Teacher · Builder
Walter Virgil Jr. is a Son, Servant, Husband, Father, and Elder within the Lord’s Church. For nearly two decades he has been planted within the life of a local assembly, and he views his journey not through the lens of platform or influence, but through the responsibility of faithful service.
“You are not perfect, but you’re committed to becoming convinced, and that is enough for God to work through.”
Walter Virgil Jr.
Before anything is public, Walter is submitted. He is submitted to his wife, Kristal, who sees him unfiltered and loves him without condition. He is submitted to his family, the first congregation he is called to lead and serve with integrity. He is submitted to his local church, Ramp Church International, and to his pastor, Bishop S.Y. Younger, the authorized voice whose covering, correction, and commission govern his life and ministry. “But by the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Corinthians 15:10, KJV). Walter is a man of authority because he is first a man under authority.
Much of what Walter writes and teaches comes from the lived realities of ministry: walking with people through seasons of growth, disappointment, restoration, and spiritual formation. He writes not as a distant observer, but as an active practitioner still being shaped by the same truths he shares, offering wisdom, clarity, and encouragement to fellow travelers learning to follow Christ faithfully.
In this season, Walter carries a renewed commitment to remain childlike before the Lord, trusting that no measure of experience or recognition should ever replace dependency on God. His pursuit is simple: to walk with compassion, grow in wisdom, remain accountable before the Lord, and live convinced that faithfulness to Jesus Christ is worth everything.
About Living Convinced
It is a movement for the intentional development of men, one that can be experienced personally, implemented within an organization, or launched within an existing community.
The Methodology
Each stage builds upon the last, forming a continuous path of transformation.
This is not a curriculum to be administered. It is a formational journey to be stewarded.
Examining the labels that attempt to define identity before God ever speaks. A label does not have to be accurate to be effective. It only has to be internalized.
If labels are the containers of identity, voices are the architects. This stage introduces the providential faculty and the silence that occurs when a father’s voice is absent.
You are the result of words spoken, voices honored, and definitions repeated: some chosen, and many chosen for you before you had the language to resist them.
The pivotal stage where revelation of Christ reframes identity. Seeing Jesus clearly produces clarity about who you are. Formation cannot be sustained by analysis alone.
Revelation may reveal who you are, but redefinition requires relationship. God rarely completes identity formation in isolation. He assigns people to steward the next phase of your becoming.
When God redefines you, He does not immediately remove pressure. He allows pressure to prove alignment. This is targeted resistance against who God has declared you to be.
God never forms a life for private consumption. Formation was never meant to terminate with you. The goal of spiritual formation is not personal growth. It is responsibility.
The Invitation

Whether you’re leading a church, ministry, nonprofit, educational initiative, correctional program, recovery ministry, business, or community group, we’d love to learn about your vision and help determine the best implementation strategy: an organization-wide launch, a small-group cohort, facilitator training, an intensive, a retreat, or Live Cohort participation.
A member of the Living Convinced team will respond within 2–3 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
A few of the most common questions we receive. If you don't see yours listed, start a conversation with us.
Living Convinced is designed to serve any environment developing men. That includes churches and men's ministries, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, correctional programs, recovery ministries, businesses, and civic or community groups. If your community is committed to developing men, the framework will flex to serve it.
Start by requesting a Consultation. Share a little about your community and what you're hoping to accomplish. A member of the Living Convinced team will follow up to explore the best implementation pathway for your context: an organization-wide launch, a small-group cohort, facilitator training, an intensive, a retreat, or Live Cohort participation.
You'll receive a confirmation once your inquiry is received. A member of the team will follow up personally within 2–3 business days to schedule a conversation, understand your community, and recommend the pathway that best serves your leaders and your men. There's no obligation and no pressure to commit until you're ready.
Yes. The seven-stage journey stays intact, but the implementation is designed to flex with your context. Some communities launch an organization-wide cohort. Others begin with a single men's small group, a weekend intensive, or a leadership team. The Living Convinced team will help you determine the right shape for your setting.
Yes. Individuals can begin the journey personally through the Participant Path by purchasing the Participant Handbook, or by joining the upcoming Live Cohort. Neither requires organizational sponsorship.
The Live Cohort is a seven-week live formation experience walking through the Living Convinced journey together in real time. The next cohort is scheduled for September 24 through November 5, 2026, meeting Thursdays 7:00 to 8:30 PM (Eastern), at Ramp Church International in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The Participant Path is for the man walking the journey personally: reading, reflecting, and being formed. The Facilitator Path is for the man preparing to lead others through the journey within a church, ministry, organization, or community he leads. Both paths share the same seven-stage curriculum and the same Live Cohort experience. The Facilitator Path adds training on how to steward the journey for others.
Facilitator Training is required for anyone preparing to guide the Living Convinced journey inside a church, organization, or community group. Training registration is included with the purchase of the Facilitator Guide. Participants who simply want to walk the journey personally can do so through the Participant Path without any training.
Facilitator Training is included with the purchase of the Facilitator Guide. Facilitator Certification is a separate, invitation-based process administered by the Get Fresh and Live Institute. Trained facilitators may later be invited into the certification process, which requires additional evaluation. Completion of Facilitator Training does not automatically result in certification.
The core resources are the Participant Handbook and the Facilitator Guide, both authored by Walter Virgil Jr. Additional support includes the Live Cohort experience, Facilitator Training, and organizational consultation for communities implementing the journey.
After you submit a community inquiry, a member of the Living Convinced team will schedule a conversation to understand your context, your men, and your goals. Together we'll identify the pathway that fits your community, whether that's a full implementation, a facilitator-training track, a Live Cohort connection, or a starting point that grows over time.
Living Convinced is designed for men ready to break old patterns, reclaim identity, develop authentic brotherhood, and walk in their God-given purpose. It serves individuals seeking formation, leaders preparing to steward that formation in others, and organizations building sustained development of men.
